Pause for a moment.
Unclench your jaw.
Now check your hips.
There is a direct fascial line connecting the two.
So when life feels heavy…
when words go unspoken…
when stress builds…
The jaw tightens.
The pelvis follows.
The psoas grips.
The sacrum compresses.
The low back aches.
And sometimes the body speaks through digestion
when the mouth hasn’t.
Nothing in the body works in isolation.
It’s a conversation.
What is your body trying to say right now?

2 years and 11 months ago I moved 2 hours out of the city. Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought I would become so busy in a rural area.
I insisted on keeping my SL office and I traveled out every other week. Then once a month. Now, I've become so busy where I live, I just can't make it work anymore. I've given up my SL office.
I feel so blessed to have had such wonderful loyal clients through the years. You all have given me so much pride and joy to be a massage therapist. I've enjoyed helping all of you and many of you have helped me learn and grow. You've been like family to me. I will miss you dearly.
If you're going to be in the Fuitland/Duchesne area and would like some work done, please text me.

We are energy, celestial beings of ebb and flow living in a one-time given earth suit, experiencing life in, on, and around this world. There is no health without sickness, no joy without sadness, no death without life. We are as one. I am a part of you, and you are a part of me. All beings are interconnected with all of life. The ground, plants, animals, water, air, and fire are all a part of you and me. Every thought, every action, or lack thereof has a cause and an effect. Not just on you, but on me, that, and them. It is what forms what will be. Everything is energy with a purpose and a multitude of important roles in this expansive universe and all its dimensions. Embrace the journey with the good, the bad, and the ugly. You belong here, an intricate matter meant to expand, take up space, love, be loved, live, learn, share, and grow. We are one.

Is fatigue a symptoms of the body holding onto stress, unresolved emotions and or trauma? YES❗️
Stress can disrupt sleep. Stress can keep you in a hypervigilant state of being.
Physical reactions: Trauma can cause physical reactions like fatigue, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, and headaches.
Sleep disturbances: Trauma can cause sleep disorders like insomnia or nightmares.
Hyperarousal: Trauma can cause a chronic state of hyperarousal, which can lead to fatigue.
Neurotransmitter depletion: Trauma can deplete neurotransmitters like serotonin and dopamine, which can contribute to fatigue.
Coping behaviors: Coping with trauma can be emotionally taxing and lead to fatigue.
Brain fog: Trauma can cause brain fog, which is a feeling of mental fatigue.
Compassion fatigue: People who work with other people's trauma may experience compassion fatigue, which is extreme tiredness and desperation.
Here's some suggestions that can help.

I feel fortunate to have outstanding clients who appreciate the benefits of body work and remain steadfast in their trust in my skills. One remarkable individual, in particular, has demonstrated impressive growth physically, emotionally, and spiritually, and I'm privileged to play a role in her healing journey.

A conversation with a client about music genres today reminded me of the significant impact music has on our emotional and physical states. Do you notice how certain songs can transport you back to a specific moment, elicit emotions, or affect your mood? Similarly, consuming negative music can foster negative emotions, rumination, and potentially depression and anger, causing the body to produce excess cortisol and leading to inflammation, weight gain, and disease. By choosing positivity, we can reduce tension and promote holistic well-being.💪

In my profession I'm asked these questions from time to time;
"How can you put your hands on filthy people? How can you work on someone who has been a perpetrator? Aren't you scared of that person, don't you know what they've done?
My answer is simple. Compassion.
We don't know if someone is in their darkest hour and the challenges they may be facing. I have been graced with the amazing ability to help others heal and that is what I will do.
We all deserve a chance to heal.
