Thanks again if you stayed tuned for this long video 😂 A little back story, my client has been loving gelx extensions- soft tip cover gels (whatever wording you prefer) I do use Aprés gel extensions and products. Gel extensions are an awesome alternative to acrylic sets. They are light weight, you get that immediate length and shape, and they last 3-4 weeks. In the beginning of the video you can see Heather’s nails grown out and I want to say they were on exactly 4 weeks and 1 day. With gelx extensions you do have to soak off and start over at your next appointment AND your natural nail growth is normally cut back. The gelx sets are not normally filled. I will say soaking them off is super easy… it’s not hard on your nails. ONLY and ONLY bc Heather is my regular client I did a fill on this gelx set. She had very minimal lifting, I knew what products were on her nails, how her nails normal grow and she is coming back in 2 weeks for a soak off. She wanted a little more growth on her natural nails and wants to transition to builder gel. Builder gel would be applied to her natural nail and does not have to be soaked off at each appointment.
