Hi everyone! Something that has come up in my world of hairstyling, is that many stylists are not listening to the client. What is extremely important is to have the stylist listen. Sometimes our clients have a hard time explaining. That's so understandable. We as stylists need is patience and listen to hear key words that even if the client does not know it we pick up on it. We can then help them describe further or even show by pictures. We encourage clients to bring photos ( on line or magazine) etc to help with communication. I just had this happen to me the other day. Not all clients want nor should have the latest style or cut. So, to determine the right style and steps, a stylist needs to ask key questions for example, how do you style your hair, ie. Blow dry, curling iron, scrunch etc., how much time do you want to spend on your hair and other pertinent information.
I did not take pictures( sadly) of before. Here is a new client recently after of having a fresh new look of all over color, highlights and haircut. Her husband said it in 3 words..."You look Fabulous".
The Key to happy clients is to be the type of stylist to listen and even ask more questions to help understand.

A special lady came to see me today for her hair. We had a blast having her get karizmified! Lots of changes for her and she sparkles now! I love bringing smiles to people's faces! Being a stylist is magical. The first two pictures are the before... Kaboom !

So... Day 2! Omg. What a hoot seeing everyone! Lots of changes. Here is the Afters of my clients today. Not overbooking( cause you can't) and making sure everyone stays healthy ✔️
I had one client who had her gray coming through and decided... Let's blend this , I'm done. Here are a few after. It was gray and then brown 3/4 down... My last client ( she wanted her mask on for the pic)... Let's go lighter! Kaboom at Karizma! Can't wait for tomorrow!😀😀😀

Well,. We had some fun yesterday! Gosh, it felt SoOOo good being back behind the chair. My clients were back home , laughing and feeling great when they left! I felt great the whole time! I love all of you! I have my face shield on. That works great! When under dryers etc, we stay away from each other so everyone can breathe. It's only me and my client. I have always worked one in one here at my little one chair shop! I'm leaving an extra 1/2 hour between clients to clean. We got this! Hairdressers love their clients. I have been a stylist over 40+. ( That's as far as I can count)🤣🤣🤣🤣. Welcome back!
