I’ll never forget working through the night—until 4:30AM—to make sure the salon was ready to open just a few hours later. Little did we know that it would only be the first of many all nighters. In fact, there was so much we didn’t know that night and so much we’re still learning even now.

When I think back throughout the years, what stands out are the relationships we’ve made, the stories we get to be a part of. From co-workers becoming some of our closest friends, to sharing trials and triumphs with our clients—we have done so much life with so many people and I don’t know where else you find that kind of connection. Hair salons are full of secrets the rest of the world doesn’t yet know—people tell us everything, and it often goes both ways. It’s like a sacred ground of spilling your guts lol, and there is an unspoken understanding that the trust must be carefully protected. It’s actually incredible when you think about it.

We’re so grateful to everyone who has come alongside us on this journey-friends and family who have lent their blood, sweat and maybe even some tears? Clients who showed up for us on that first day and clients who came along later, you are the reason we get to do what we love. And always grateful to God for giving us this vision, & for guiding our steps. Happy 17th Birthday to Davao Hair, can’t believe you’re almost an adult 😅

A great install takes time, detail and a whole lot of blending magic. That means custom coloring the wefts and mixing tones to mimic how natural hair reflects light.

Both sets of hair belong to the same head—one she came in with and the other is what she left wearing.

Sometimes a new client comes in with existing extensions we can still work with — this was one of those times.

I softened the root on each weft for a more natural look, then added a few new pieces to create dimension and help everything blend better.

And can we talk about how much brighter her blonde looks now?
It’s a little counterintuitive, but adding depth actually makes the lighter tones pop even more. 🤍✨
