I have to go to Boston from November 14th until Dec 18th for my Auto Stem Cell Transplant. Right now the first week I will need to be in a hotel super close to Dana Farber because I will have lots of appts every day! So my husband will be staying with me then! He will be back a week later for a few days and then again on Dec 11th for 7 days. I should be getting released at some point that week! Right now we have reserved the cheapest hotel recommended by the hospital but that is still $3000 out of pocket! Ugh! Any little bit helps if you can! We appreciate everyone!!!!

Today was so emotional 😢

Today I did my last Haircut, Cleaned my Scissors and put them back in their sheath one last time. Turned off my blowdrier and put it back in it's place. Cleaned and oiled my clippers and put them back in their case. Sat in my shop and cried for 10 minutes and then shut the lights off and locked the door for the very last time on Hairy Stylz Salon ! Today could very well be the last day of my 23 year Hairdressing Career! Will I beable to return behind the chair after my Cancer Journey, I have no idea and I am very uncertain of what's next for me!

The past few weeks have been so emotionally draining! Its so hard saying good bye to all my people all day every day! So many hugs and tears shed!

But Today I had so much love and support around me! Today all my friends/clients showed me how much they love and appreciate me. Today I had beautiful messages sent, flower deliveries and people just stopping in through out the day with cards and gifts to show me how much I have touched their lives over the years! So many well wishes!

I realized how greatful I am today to have been a part of my community! All the people that wore purple today in support of me and my career!

I have made some really amazing connections with some really amazing people over the last 23 years! Some have been with me since the beginning and some I have only met this year! It doesn't matter when our paths crossed, I have so much love and appreciation for each and every one of you who has ever sat in my chair and trusted me! You are all a part of my family!!!

I am going to miss 😢 chatting , catching up on lives and making everyone beautiful every few weeks! With out all of you I would have never made it 23 years in this Industry and I would have never have been able to finally become a salon owner!!! Thank you all for helping and supporting my dreams over the years!

Today I came home and was met with flowers, teddy bear, cards and candy! My family has been my rock through all of this! Countless nights the last few weeks I would come home and be in tears! They would just wrap me in their arms and let me cry! Ricky, Jada and Nia I hope you guys always feel the love I have for you! Thank you for letting me just feel what I needed to feel in this process! I love u so much!

Tonight as I sign off and go to bed I know how much I am loved by so many amazing people! This girl is over whelmed with all the feels!
