The Big Move Parking Advisory:

Today is the big move, eye starting at 10 a.m. Parking may be a bit tricky due to the Riverwest Rummage on Burleigh between Holton and Humboldt. Please plan accordingly.

Tomorrow at 10 a.m. is the big move! If you're helping or providing snacks we'll see you at 832 East Locust Street.

If you were planning to stop down to help out today...DONT! We've done as much prep work as can be done.

Among a zillion other salon items I've sold this week, today I sold my front desk and file cabinet...and cried real tears. I didn't think I had any left to cry, but I did. I know that this transition will serve me/us in the future, but right now, it hurts.

My desk went to a good home by the way. It was preloved when we bought it and it was a tool to earn a living and touch lives. The new guardian will do more of the same.

With that, I had to bring my computer home and never have I ever worked on so many screens at once. It's 11pm, less than 48 hrs til our big move and I'm doing some heavy adulting here, in my home office. Mixed with the grief, I'm starting to feel a familiar spark. If The Universe is cooking, I guess I'm chopping the veggies and watching the pot simmer. Working, watching, waiting. I'm nervously approaching the Reinvention Era. Yall comin with me?

We're getting really close to the "out date." We're still encouraging volunteer sign up and donations. We have an abundance of boxes and tape. Thank you for your support thus far, yall have been amazing!

KRS Moving UPDATE 5/20:

Shopping dates for home decor, salon &bar equipment are Thurs 5/21, Fri 5/22 l, Sat 5/23 11a-6:30p. We will be selling through next Thursday, I'll add more dates and times as we progress.

Fri & Sat from 5-7 are scheduled disassembly dates. Plz drop by with your drills and skills to help.
