February is a whole MOOD 🌹 This month we’re embodying softness, self love, and sultry moments.

It’s the month of love & February’s mood board is inspired by soft details and pops of bright color. I’m into silky & flowy textures, shades of rose, and interesting angles & perspectives. I’ve always loved the look of reflections in imagery and playing with lighting to create emotion ✨

Having a mission to empower women through my bo***ir experience means putting myself in my clients shoes ✨ Every year I book a bo***ir session for myself with my mentor and it’s such a learning experience. Not only do I gain new posing and lighting techniques but most importantly I gain the perspective of my bo***ir clients being in front of the lens. Here’s three important things I learned from my personal bo***ir session a few years back:

•You may feel vulnerable at first but eventually the feeling of vulnerability subsides and it becomes a very freeing experience.

•Trust the process and let go! Your photographer may suggest things that feel different or unique to you. Remember, we are professionals working to ensure you are being captured in the most flattering angles and lighting.

•Speak up! Let us know your favorite things about yourself and what you want highlighted during your session. Let us know your insecurities and share any insight with us so we can guarantee your max comfort and confidence throughout your session.

Remembering these three things can boost your confidence going into your next bo***ir session. My goal is ALWAYS for you to leave the experience feeling empowered and so happy you did this for yourself!

January’s mood board embodies the beach & is allllllllll about the dramatic details 🌿☁️🌚

These gloomy + cold days have me craving some coastal sun 🌞 My bo***ir mood board is inspired by the cold earthy tones of winter, light & flowy elemental textures, deep shadows and black + white imagery. I’ve been into capturing more dramatic details in my photography work lately 🌿
