✨ HAPPY BIRTHDAY STEFANIE GROS ✨

Today we’re celebrating Stefanie! Happy birthday and cheers to 6 years with Elk Rock Wellness! 🥂

Stefanie’s path into massage began early, her mother was a massage therapist and acupuncturist, giving her an introduction to bodywork from childhood. Her experience as a dancer in college deepened her appreciation for hands-on work, and later, a massage workshop in Portugal focused on emotional release, breathwork, and massage which she found to be personally transformative.

That connection between body and mind continues to influence Stefanie’s practice today. With 23 years of experience, she creates a safe, grounded space and works with slow, firm intention, blending focused therapeutic work with the deeply relaxing qualities of massage.

We’re so grateful for Stefanie’s thoughtful presence and the care she brings to Elk Rock Wellness.

What is biodynamic bodywork?

Your body knows how to heal itself. Your biodynamic therapist will help support that process by allowing the health and vitality inherently present to move more freely throughout your system.

Biodynamic bodywork combines the interface of biodynamic craniosacral therapy with tools borrowed from deep tissue and Swedish massage. Each session unfolds uniquely as the practitioner tunes into the resources of health present within the body, allowing these resources to guide the practitioner’s pace, contact, pressure, vector, and presence throughout the session.

Movement may give way to moments of held quietude, relationship to pain and restrictions may shift, and a deeper sense of wholeness and health may be contacted. Recipients can anticipate leaving the session with a deeper connection to their inner landscape, greater ease and fluidity of movement throughout the body, and a more quiet inner presence than at the start of the session.
