GBK ANNOUNCEMENT:
In 2019, I started this spray tan journey with a tent and spray gun. What started as a side job, quickly turned into me having to make the decision to leave my corporate job so I could steward the growing clientele. I was strictly mobile so after work, I was driving from home to home with my supplies to deliver luxury spray tans. I could no longer drive to all the surrounding areas in one night to serve all the clients so the next big move was renting out a salon suite. I’m so glad I trusted God to make that jump because my clientele just continued to increase once I joined Maty at Roots Beauty Room, I knew His hand was on my business! (Deuteronomy 28:8) My client reach was surpassing Louisiana, women started making the drive from Texas and Arkansas too. GBK has definitely flourished over the years, from being invited to appear on morning television news stations, sponsoring Louisiana Title beauty pageants, and training other to women to do what I do.

In 2021, I felt a stirring to venture into permanent make-up, so I took the leap again by getting my certification. I added ‘PMU Brows’ to my service list and shortly after that, tiny tattoos. It was a HUGE financial blessing to my business that led me to a highly sought after Med Spa in Arkansas. For almost a year, I was traveling there monthly to service my Arkansas clients. God is good! (Psalms 1:3 and again Deut 28:8)

After MUCH prayer, questioning, and more prayer- I’m announcing that I’m closing my beauty business here in Louisiana to follow the Lord’s direction to something NEW. It’s a big change, but one my husband and I feel deeply led toward. God has been so faithful and we know He will continue to lead and guide us on this next chapter of our lives. To my clients, THANK YOU. Thank you for trusting me with your events, your milestones, and your stories. I’m grateful you have helped me build something meaningful. You’ve truly been a blessing in my families life. I never imagined the incredible people I’d meet and the relationships built through out the years. I’m not sad, I’m sincerely filled with gratitude at how good God is.
