I would like to say a SPECIAL THANK YOU to two people that got me on the road of recovery from the Cellulites...
1 - To Chelsey Wallace-Baldwin at the Mineral Point Medical Center with her special care of watching over me. Chelsey, you are so great at what you do for others!!
2 - At Upland Hills Health in Dodgeville with Dr. Colin Graney the Foot and Ankle Specialist. Dr. Graney was amazing on cleaning up wound with removing skin and tissue from my infection.

- To my family with helping me get things put away for winter and being around when needed!!
- To Melissa Nordstrom for being my savior and with keeping the salon going!!
- To all of you with the phone call, texts, cards and stopping in to check on me. Living in a small town if so great!!
- To my husband Dan for getting me to all my appts and be my Uber!!

I will be back in the salon next week after being gone for one month. I might be slow as I have been out walking trying to get my strength back from being in bed/recliner for 3 weeks.

As our son Cameron had a major knee surgery as a freshman in high school, he had a lot of restrictions. Every morning I had to help get him up for the day with saying....let's go beat yesterday! When Cam was returning back to College his sophomore year he said he wanting a tattoo that involved all of us. He wanting one on his forearm saying... Beat Yesterday, with Dan and my penmanship. That is one way as a family we take day to day.

I would like to say a HUGH THANK YOU to Upland Hills Health in Dodgeville. The the compassion and the care of that staff was amazing and the girls on second floor…You Rock It!!
- To the ER staff that took me under their wing
- Dr Jewell and Dr Sara eith the great care and they knew how much I wanted to go home with paperwork in place 3 days before but the two as a team knew what was best for me
- To my nurses - Taylor, Steph (sorry as I gave you a workout my first night), Abby, Donna and Danielle as you were my ROCK!!!! ❤️ 
- To all the CNA as there was so many, even if you were assigned to me, you are still my entertainers and my cheerleaders
- To all my Lab staff with all you do
- To the Kitchen Staff with the great variety of things to pick from 
- To Housecleaning with Misty and Tom coming in everyday
- To maintenance to the one and only Alf for fixing my blind for me

So this is not going to be NO sugar coat or pity party of a post. I spent the last 6 days in the hospital with a Severe case of cellulitis in my right ankle. Cellulitis… You F’n SUCK!!! I told my doctors and nurses that I would rather go back and have my emergency C-section epidural again than to go through this.

Now putting in 36 years of my life and my heart into the saloni going to need your help. As of right now, I’m going weak for a week not knowing when I’m gonna be back into the salon. Hopefully, I’ll be back soon. I’m off next week trying to recover, but going forward, I will not be picking up a blow blow dryer or curling iron. You’re more than welcome to use yourself before you leave or if you want to go wet, but I need that extra 5 to 10 minutes to put my foot up between the next client. If I see that your appointment is one that would make me stand too long. Please understand if I say I can’t do it. There may be a time that I have to have follow-up appointments with doctors that I may have to change my appointments for people please understate.

Thank You to my family and other visitors that popped in to help entertain as it wasn’t the easiest just to lay on that bed! 

Thank You to Kim Wedig as you were so sweet and thoughtful coming over surprising me with supper and staying for awhile!

My BIGGEST THANK YOU goes to Melissa Nordstrom!!! I don’t know what I would’ve done without you for all the help in the salon even with your own pain you have everyday with your knee and surgery on the horizon. I Love you girl!!! ❤️
