I began my career in 2007 at the Aveda Institute. Since then, I have been Aveda and Wella trained as well as Deva Curl certified.

My passion is creating a look that fits the individual's lifestyle, highlighting their best features, while being manageable to replicate at home. Full blonding session on my new client, Hannah 💗 Light dusting on the haircut to keep it looking healthy.

For a bit of intensity her custom color consisted of dropping out some pieces throughout the interior and completing the look by ‘tipping out’ her ends.

Do you feel like your stylist never gets you bright/white enough? I almost always hear this complaint from new client’s with a warmer base.

This mistake happens due to improper formulation.

Jessy 👇🏻 has strawberry blonde hair and requires a highly pigmented toner post bleaching. Her toner has to be intense enough that her warm natural isn’t reflecting on the lightened pieces and making her feel yellow. In fact whenever I’m toning her I wait until it’s almost purple (basically until I begin to panic- LOL) to rinse it out. Essentially ‘over toning’ is appropriate in these situations.

Once it’s blow dried it’s the most perfect cool down and her natural doesn’t play any tricks on the eye to make it look yellow!

Clients! Don’t hesitate to explain to your stylist you won’t be afraid to see a slight silvery-violet hue.
