Normalize buying clothes that are mostly linen, cotton, wool or silk and wear them over and over like you LOVE THEM. ♥️
Also, a couple of old books I’m rereading because they fill my cup and also inspire.
Forever chasing beauty/goodness.
Happy weekend ✨✨✨

Gloria Steinem, journalist, writer, and activist who became a symbol of the fight for women’s freedom around the world, has died at 92.
I know she lived a full and beautiful life. But it’s still sad to think of people that were such a light no longer being with us. Gloria Steinem changed our world, and for the better. I’m so grateful. ♥️
I had the absolute pleasure of seeing her speak (along with half the women of Mpls that I’ve been connected with!) at Northrop Auditorium in 2020. It was beyond inspiring. And the woman, in her late 80s at that point, was wearing LEATHER PANTS ♥️🤣 and she looked phenomenal. Proof that as a feminist, you have the CHOICE to show up however you like and there is NOTHING that says you can’t care for others while taking care of yourself.
For more than six decades, Gloria dedicated her life to women’s freedom. In 1963, she went undercover as a Pl***oy Bunny to expose the working conditions women faced. In 1971, she co-founded the National Women’s Political Caucus, and in 1972, she co-founded Ms. Magazine, creating a platform that put women’s rights and experiences front and center.
She fought for reproductive freedom, economic equality, and women’s political power, helping lead a movement that changed what women could expect from their lives, from financial independence to making decisions about their own bodies.
In 2013, she received the Presidential Medal of Freedom, and in 2017, she helped lead the historic Women’s March in Washington.
Gloria was the epitome of a trailblazer who dedicated her life to making women more free.
Rest in power, Gloria. ♥️ You will be a true icon forever.
