This is the level of real it gets in this episode.

Our struggles with self-worth and desirability can feel like a cinder block on our chest, or a ticking time bomb.

I’m curious what a s*x worker’s perspective on this would be…anyone out there??

And to all of you reading this—
How do you struggle with desirability, self-worth and s*xuality?

We’re here to remind you — you’re enough. You’re worthy. And we know, the struggle is real.

Being desired is not the same thing as being worthy. 🔥

This week on Pleasure Bound, we get with Andrew Gurza Andrew Gurza — and go straight into the messy and complex territory of s*x, care, self-worth, disability, and intimacy.

Andrew talks about wanting to get laid. Wanting to be noticed. Wanting genuine intimacy. The realities of caregiving and s*x work. The grief of what disability takes away. And the radical act of believing you are still worthy of pleasure.

It’s funny. It’s vulnerable. It’s provocative. And it asks us to reconsider what we’ve been taught about desirability, disability, and worth.

Our potential for pleasure is ALWAYS changing.

There was a time that I thought I would never have an or**sm again.

I was wrong. And my capacity for pleasure keeps growing.

The more I stay in tune with:
1- what feels good
2- how to tune in to what my body needs and desires, and
3- how I can work to expand
the more I surprise myself.

Things can happen that you never knew were possible.

Just keep swimming….💦💦💦

Care and love look different for each of us — stay open, stay brave, stay human.

Can we open ourselves up to what connection could look like rather than closing the door if it scares us, or looks different, or challenges us?
This is part of being human.
This is part of loving each other.
This is part of really seeing each other.

Don’t underestimate your imagination and creativity when it comes to finding ways to connect.
A Conversation can go along way.
Figuring things out together can be a game changer.
There might be a way to include someone you think might not want to be included, or you might think doesn’t fit in this space or that.

Check your judgment and your assumptions at the door and bring in more imagination — more humanness.

it’s like the movie the labyrinth, things aren’t always what they seem…

Dig a little deeper… See what magic can come from it. ✨💜🪷

What happens when you lose your s*xuality… and then find it again? 🔥

In this episode of Pleasure Bound, we get radically honest about our first experiences with s*x and pleasure after becoming paralyzed —

The grief.
The fear.
The loneliness.
The awkwardness.
The curiosity.
The fu***ng possibility.

We talk about relearning our bodies, dissecting and rebuilding s*xual confidence, navigating vulnerability, internalized ableism, self-touch, trauma, desire, radical self-love, and what it means to realize:

I’m still here.
I’m still worthy.
I’m still capable of pleasure.
And I’m not fu***ng done.

Reclaiming your s*xuality isn’t about going back to who you were, it’s about allowing what’s here now, and discovering who you can become.

And maybe pleasure isn’t just something we experience, maybe it’s a way of saying yes to being erotically, fully, and honestly ALIVE with our whole selves.

It’s something each of us could be asking ourselves more often —

Does this feel good???🤯

While Gabriel Gabriel “Freaque” Rodreick was finding his voice again after his he had to find that sweet spot of, ‘ok, what feels goood?’
And then he followed that.
The result?
A new relationship with music that keeps blossoming for him, stints on different radio stations, sit-ins with world class musicians, a few productions, hundreds of performances, some music videos, a few albums, and whole lot of FUN.

So next time you find yourself looking for the flow, or struggling within your search for it, just ask yourself — ‘does this feel good?’ 🌊
OR
‘HOW could this feel good?’…

Lean into sensation and just see what happens✨

Andrew has been a leader in the world of s*xuality and disability for years now.

He’s that zero-f**ks-given Crip homie, who blazes the trail for those of us seeking liberation and a renewed sense of worthiness when it comes to s*xuality, sensuality, and beyond, in our marginalized bodies.

We LOVED this conversation. Andrew doesn’t hold back with bold and honest questions, and a compassionate lens for owning our truth.

These are the ones that fuel-up the Pleasure Bound tank.

Episode XIII ☠️🌹👑

Lucky 13: Don’t Be a Lady. Be a Legend. — Reflections on the Pleasure Bound Journey

Thirteen feels like the perfect place to pause.

In tarot, the Death card isn’t about endings—it’s about transformation. It’s the courage to release what no longer serves us so something more honest can emerge.

Over these first 13 episodes, we’ve let go of shame, internalized ableism, old expectations, and stories that taught us to shrink ourselves.

This episode is our moment to look back before we move forward.

It’s also the beginning of a new season.

A season where we’re choosing to be legends, not ladies.

We’re letting the lady die—the version of ourselves shaped by the need to be pleasing, quiet, grateful, or anything other than wholly ourselves.

Some things need to end so something more joyful and expansive can begin.

Here’s to becoming. 🖤
