✨ A little baby + business update! ✨

We have about 11 weeks (or less!) until this sweet babe makes her debut! 🤍 I know there have been a lot of questions about what’s going to happen or change once baby arrives, so I’m hoping to answer some of those here. Bear with me… this might be a long one! 😂

👶🏻 Baby + Maternity Leave
My plan is to work for as long as my body allows! As of right now, my last scheduled day of work will be October 22nd. Of course, we are on baby girl’s time, so if she decides to make an early arrival, that will obviously change things. I’m looking at October as kind of a “book at your own risk” month 😂. My days will be a bit shorter and with that availability will be a bit more limited but if I can be at work, I’ll be there!
In a perfect world, I’m hoping to come back the week of Thanksgiving and the week of Christmas for very limited availability… 2 clients per day MAX. This is all tentative and will depend on how I’m feeling, how baby is doing, and how everything is going postpartum. But if I’m feeling good and can do it, I plan to!

🗓️ New Schedule Starting in January
Once I return in January, I will no longer be able to work past 4:30 PM because of daycare pickup. With my fiancé’s schedule, I’ll be the one handling pickup, so this will be my schedule for the foreseeable future. That means no more evening/nighttime appointments. 😭 I’m so sorry to anyone who has loved those later appointments! BUT… since I won’t be working nights anymore, I will be opening up Mondays! 🙌🏼

My new schedule will be:
Monday – Friday (still figuring out set hours - stay tuned for this!)

I know this is a big change, but I’m really excited to find a schedule that allows me to be present for my baby while still doing something I absolutely love. 🤍

💍 2027 Weddings
I’ve also had quite a few inquiries about 2027 weddings, so I wanted to address those! I won’t have my 2027 wedding availability or pricing finalized until after the new year. I will begin booking weddings after the new year, but I will not be taking any weddings until after our own wedding in early June. 💍🥰

So, for weddings after June 11th, if I’m available, I will absolutely do my best to accommodate you and make it work! I’ll just have a little one now, which means I’ll need to make sure I have childcare arranged, especially for those weekend weddings.

Thank you all so much for being patient, understanding, and supportive as we navigate this next chapter. I’m so incredibly grateful for every single one of you and for the flexibility and understanding you’ve shown me throughout this pregnancy. 🤍

I can’t wait to meet our sweet girl and eventually bring her along for a little salon visit! 🥹🍼✨
