10 years ago I set out on an adventure that I wasn't sure of, but I knew I needed to embark on it to help provide for the most beautiful & precious blessings in my life, My daughters.

I stepped out on faith, having no clue where it would take me, how fulfilling it would be, or the abundance of lessons it would teach me. However, I trusted in God & myself. Today Kouture Beauty Bar is 10 years old!!! I started a business with the help of my village & for that, I will forever be grateful.

21 years in total I have evolved, continually chosen to learn, & perfected my craft as a Master Colorist/Color Correction Specialist. It has been quite the ride filled with many hills & and valleys. I have made it through them all!

The beauty industry is DEFINITELY not for the faint of heart. It can be pretty cutthroat at times & sadly it isn't all "community" inclusive as one would think/hope. I know what I've experienced & what my truth is. The revelations revealed to me in just these last three months have been eye-opening, humbling, mind, & spirit freeing to say the very least.

This has led me to finally make a decision that I have been sitting on for the last year or so. In light of recent events & my healing journey, I have decided to close the doors to Kouture Beauty Bar.

I have loved servicing the community of Minot & the surrounding area for the last 10 years using my God-given talents to beautify & bless the lives of others. That's what this has always been about for me. I have met some of the most AMAZING, KIND, GENEROUS, BEAUTIFUL & GENUINE SOULS!! That alone makes this decision easier to divulge. I will remember all of the great times spent with everyone I encountered, as well as the moments that were meant to grow me.

Reason, Season, Lifetime. I will forever stick by this in all aspects of my life. KBB was a beautiful, yet trying season of my life, but it was worth EVERY smile, laugh, & tear shed!!! Thank you so much to all of you who believed in ME, my talents, & saw my GROWTH. Thank you for your support!

Stay tuned to see what the next Season of my life brings! I have an abundance of GRATITUDE for what is to come!!!

A lil Announcement

Let me tell y'all a lil story about this stunning beauty and her first salon experience of a 6 hour virgin hair color transformation on Tuesday!!

Y'all... when I tell you she has enough hair for 4 people!!! It was a job and a half of highlights, toner, layering, silk pressing, and finishing, but I was glad to give her the mommy makeover she dreamed of !! Her smile says EVERYTHING!! The color came out better than we both imagined, all the body in her waves is insane! 2 days later (per her selfies) it's still bouncing!

This is what brings joy and happiness to my work. I'm blessed with some of the most amazing Hair canvases!

Now accepting appointments for Mid November/Beginning December. NEW guests are welcome!!! I look forward to meeting some new faces and beautifying my lovely consistent regulars! I thank all of my supporters for trusting me with your gorgeous coifs! It's because of all of you that I have my dream career! I thank y'all kindly 🙏🏾 ☺ ❤!
