Some of y’all don’t need another product.

You need an appointment already sitting on your calendar.

👀

Because here’s what happens:

You say you’ll wash your hair Saturday.

Saturday comes.

You’re tired.

Next weekend comes.

You get busy.

Then suddenly it’s been weeks.

That is EXACTLY why we created Wash Bar memberships.

Not because you can’t wash your own hair.

Because you shouldn’t have to rely on motivation every month to maintain it.

Your nails are scheduled.

Your lashes are scheduled.

Your hair appointment is scheduled.

Why isn’t your actual HAIR CARE scheduled?

A Wash Bar membership turns:

“I need to wash my hair.”

into:

“My appointment is Thursday.”

That’s the difference.

💙

Would you be more consistent with your natural hair if two professional washes were already built into your month?

YES or NO?

We want to know ⬇️

Matted hair usually doesn’t happen overnight.

Read that again.

It can start with:

“I’ll detangle it tomorrow.”

Then tomorrow becomes next week.

Then the hair gets put into a bun.

Then another style goes on top.

Then washing gets avoided because detangling feels overwhelming.

Eventually what started as tangles can become something much harder to manage.

And here’s something important:

A lot of women aren’t neglecting their hair because they don’t care.

They’re overwhelmed.

They’re busy.

They’re embarrassed.

They don’t know where to start.

Or nobody ever taught them.

That’s why we don’t believe in embarrassing clients at Wash Bar.

We start where you are.

Because shame doesn’t detangle hair.

Care does.

💙

Have you ever avoided doing your hair because you knew wash day was going to be too much?

We need to talk about the side of protective styles nobody posts.

The finished braids are beautiful.

The wig is laid.

The sew-in looks amazing.

But underneath some of these styles we are seeing:

• Weeks of buildup
• Hair beginning to mat together
• Extreme dryness
• Excessive tangling
• Scalp that hasn’t been properly cleaned
• Hair snapping during takedown
• Clients who are scared to even touch their own hair

And sometimes the client genuinely had NO IDEA it had gotten that bad.

That’s the part people don’t see on Instagram.

A protective style still requires maintenance.

Your hairstyle can look perfectly fine while the hair underneath is struggling.

This is one of the biggest reasons Wash Bar exists.

We aren’t here to replace your stylist.

We’re here to make sure there is healthy hair underneath the style they’re creating.

Be honest: Do you check on your natural hair while you’re wearing a protective style or do you wait until takedown day?

Your hairstyle can look healthy while your HAIR isn’t.
Read that again.

A fresh wig doesn’t tell us what’s happening underneath it.

Fresh braids don’t tell us what’s happening underneath them.

A beautiful sew-in doesn’t tell us when the scalp was last properly cleaned.
We have to stop using “my style still looks good” as the measurement for whether our hair needs care.

If this stepped on your toes, share it with somebody else so you’re not alone. 😂💙

STYLISTS: What’s something clients do before their appointment that you wish they would STOP doing? 😂

Clients you are allowed to defend yourselves in the comments. 👇🏽

We want BOTH sides.

Some of y’all don’t have a hair problem. You have a CONSISTENCY problem. 👀

You wait until the braids come down. You wait until the scalp is screaming.

You wait until detangling becomes a 3-hour project. Then it’s an emergency.

What if your natural hair already had an appointment on the calendar every month BEFORE it became a problem?

Would you use a monthly wash membership if it meant wash day was officially off your to-do list? YES or NO?

💙 Wash Bar memberships were built for maintenance, not emergencies.
