It was the first EVER of its kind in the world, offered by the Strangulation Institute - and I was there! The topic was staged crime scenes arranged to throw off investigators and forensic nurses. If you are squeamish about needles, just let me know before your procedure and I will do my best to make you as comfortable as possible. This 26 year old patient wanted fuller 💋lips💋 but was on a tight budget. She could only afford a half syringe of Juvederm, which is $300. For this lip treatment, I injected 1 syringe of Juvederm XC VERY shallow along her vermilion border (that's where the pink part of her lips meets the white of her skin.) She came to me with nicely shaped lips already, but wanted some plumping due to age-related volume loss. After defining her lip borders, I injected into her lips creating the desired volume. She will wait for swelling to subside, and re-evaluate before we inject her 2nd syringe. She let me know that her lips were somewhat sore for about 36 hours, which is very normal, but she had no bruising!! Before her treatment, I iced her lips and had her brush her teeth- just one of my many hygienic techniques. By the way, her husband LOVES her new lips! Yessss! P.S.
