Hello everyone and Happy 2026!

💫💚As I embrace a new year and my birthday month, I couldn’t find a better time to take a moment and reintroduce myself!

I am Shannon and I am the proud owner of frolic for the past 13 years and a nail tech for over 20+years 🤩. Tho frolic is one of my happy places and I spend a lot of time at what I call my second home, my family is the core of my life! I truly treasure the time spent with my husband, Brad, of 20+ years, our grown children, Sarah, Taylor, and Ryan and our amazing seven grandchildren, Nova, Kennedy, Kashton, Kinsley, Atlas, and our newest additions Kalum and Kassian! I do a Grammy camp in the summer with my grandkids, which makes my heart so happy, and as more join it will be something I will treasure always, but is going to be a bit wild, but some amazing memories🥰😉🫣!

I also enjoy the company of my friends through activities outside of frolic, which brings me amazing joy! There are many great memories, laughter, and love with all of my gal pals and I embrace that with all my heart! Those who know me well I am known as “the cruise director”, I have tried to retire many times from this, but I am thinking it is just another plus for my life resume💫🙌🏻😂! My calendar is always full, which Brad loves🤔, not really, but sometimes life throws you a curve ball, and in that moment I have learned you always say YES, and you keep living life to the absolute fullest😊🙏🏻💪🏻🪽!

To conclude this reintroduction, I am deeply grateful for each of and every one of my clients, who I consider friends, those who have stood by me through thick and thin as a salon owner and your nail tech! Your support means the world to me, and I am forever appreciative of you all! I also want to extend my appreciation to my incredible team members, past and present! Our journey together proves that indeed it does take a village to make something so successful and I am thankful for each of you!

🥂As the New Year approaches, I find it’s time to reflect on the year 2025.🥂It was an undoubtedly a remarkable period marked by significant challenges and resilience.

One of the most shocking events was the incident where a car crashed into the window of frolic. This unexpected occurrence left many feeling shaken and disrupted in our daily operations. However it also showed us that our team had strength and adaptability to deal with such disruption! The teamwork during this crisis helped to strengthen our bonds and foster a sense of community among us.

Throughout this year, we also experienced numerous changes in staffing. .mt our talented nail tech made the choice to move on to her own little space, which has only made her grow and be more successful both professionally and personally💫. Then our talented and long time hairstylist .of.sunshine decided to make the biggest change off all, become a mom and soon to be wife AND move to Great Falls,as we were saddened by this, we are so very happy for her💖! With new team members joining frolic, .nailbarby.ivy and .kreationz.by.kenzie, they bring fresh perspectives and many different skills to the salon, which has provided opportunities for growth and some renewed ehthususiam within our already amazing team💚!

These experiences taught us the importance of resilience, collaboration, and flexibility in the face of adversity. As we move forward from this crazy year, we will carry with us a renewed sense of purpose, but most of all, knowing whatever challenges frolic endures, this little salon is mighty and the community is strong! With that being said, we look forward to 2026💫💚💫feeling blessed for every year! Cheers🥂to you all, our community💗🤜🏻🤛🏻

Just wanted to reach out real quick with an update & let everyone know that the twins have NOT arrived yet..they are on their own time schedule & apparently not their Grammys🫣😂😳

I will absolutely let everyone know, when they arrive in this crazy world! Brad & I are waiting patiently(not patiently) with car packed..we are very excited to meet these littles💫

ONE wise man told me the other day, “why should they come out, they have each other, they are getting fed, & they are real warm!” Well I say that is all great & all BUT😬come on already🤣🤣🤣

It’s frolic Friday🖤💫🖤so it’s a perfect day to introduce Ms. Kenzie

This young lady is a 22 year old who is a fiery Aries, with a big heart, and who has loved everything beauty since she was a little girl. She remembers how beautiful she felt when her mom would braid her hair or put some curls in her hair, those small moments gave her confidence and she always felt that special love.

Mackenzie wants her chair to be a place where people can feel seen, cared for, and lifted up. She loves reminding her clients of their beauty, their confidence, and their strength, not just on the outside, but the inside as well.

When she is not behind the chair, she is spending time with her horses and dogs, and she is incredibly family oriented. Her family is her foundation, her biggest support, and the reason she shows up with so much love in her work.

She is grateful and excited to be at her newest home, frolic. Being in this space that always feels welcoming, warm, and really aligned with who she is, this new chapter is very special to her. She is excited for all the conversations , transformations, and connections ahead.
