What causes peeling or chipping!?
Here are a few reasons:
1. Application too thick
2. Forgot to cap the ends
3. Over curing (nails should only be cured one time per coat)
4. Damaged nails- nails are brittle peeling or damaged from biting, salon nails will take time to grow out damage. So be patient!
5. Cleaning chemicals can make polish brittle and cause premature chipping
6. Bending of nails after a shower can cause the polish to crack and peel off.
7. Rough activity like sports, gardening, landscaping etc. GelMoment is awesome but it doesn’t have super powers! ;)
8. Oily nails some customers have oily nails hat must be really dehydrated. Clean with dawn dish soap or polmolive. Nothing with moisturizing properties! Then dehydrate the nail with cleanser pad or alcohol. Also make sure you have buffed the top of the nail to remove the oil. Let dry and apply.
