Christeen here ….First and foremost, I would like to provide an update on my surgery. I underwent rotator cuff, carpal tunnel, and thumb surgery on October 29, in addition to a couple of other surgeries this year, all of which were necessary due to 35 great years spent behind the chair. Unfortunately, my profession has taken a significant toll on my body. Initially, I anticipated returning to work within six weeks, which was my planned timeline. However, my doctor and the healing process, particularly with regards to using my arms, indicate that my recovery will take substantially longer than expected. So at this time and With this in mind, and after considerable reflection, numerous prayers, and tears over the past few weeks, I have made the difficult decision to step away from behind my chair. This decision has been one of the hardest I have had to make throughout my career. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all of you for entrusting me with your hair and personal lives over the years. I have had the pleasure of forming many wonderful friendships and working with numerous lovely clients throughout my 35-year career. I will deeply miss you all. This is not a goodbye, but rather a closure to my 35 years in my Hair career …. 💫 So now for any future appointments, please reach out to The Salon.. Hello everyone. Christeen here. I am providing a brief update. I will be absent from The Salon for a minimum of six weeks, and mayb longer, contingent upon my healing progress. On October 29, 2025, I underwent hand and shoulder surgery, a necessary consequence of 35 years of service behind the chair. I kindly request your understanding and patience during this recovery period.
