Honored and deeply grateful to be recognized as Senior of the Month at the Connie Hudson Senior Citizen Center đź’š

Serving as a Master Gardener has been such a blessing—teaching gardening classes, sharing knowledge, and learning alongside so many incredible seniors. Watching seeds turn into thriving plants is beautiful, but even more meaningful is seeing confidence, joy, and connection grow within our community.

Leading the creation of our community garden and helping maintain it has been a labor of love. Together, we’re not just growing fresh, nutritious food—we’re cultivating healthier lifestyles, stronger bonds, and a deeper appreciation for God’s natural gifts.

There’s nothing more rewarding than teaching others how to grow what they eat and understanding the power of nourishing our bodies with wholesome, homegrown foods.

Thank you to everyone who supports, participates, and believes in this mission 🌱

Rain or shine, she shows up—and that kind of loyalty means everything to us 💛

This beautiful soul comes to our booth every single week, no matter the weather, to stock up on her favorite Dr. Nettles healthy lemonades, sea moss, herbs, and USDA organic certified teas. Today started with thunder, rain, and uncertainty… but just like her consistency, the day turned into something absolutely gorgeous.

Moments like this remind us why we do what we do. It’s not just about what we grow—it’s about the community, the connection, and the commitment to health and healing.

To all of our Dr. Nettles customers and true health warriors—we see you, we appreciate you, and we love you!

Spring is a season of renewal, and today at Dr. Nettles USDA Organic Farm, we’re planting more than seeds—we’re planting legacy 🌱

With my beautiful granddaughters by my side, tiny hands in the soil, I’m teaching them the rhythm of the earth: how to plant with intention, nurture with patience, and harvest with gratitude. They’re learning that food doesn’t come from a store—it comes from the ground, from hard work, and from love.

We plant so they can grow.
We grow so they can eat healthy.
We teach so they can survive and thrive.

These are lessons that go far beyond the garden—self-sufficiency, respect for nature, and the power of knowing how to feed yourself and your family. This is how we build strong roots for generations to come 💚

There’s something truly special about moments that remind you why you do what you do 💛

A beautiful mother and daughter stopped by our vendor booth at the Palafox Market this Saturday in Pensacola, and it was such a joy to share space, smiles, and meaningful conversation. They sampled our USDA organic lemonade and stayed for the fellowship—and those are the moments that fill our hearts the most.

Community, connection, and wellness all in one place on a beautiful day. We are so grateful for each person who stops by and becomes a part of our journey 🌿🍋

Today I had the honor of sharing my passion at the University of South Alabama’s Continuing Learning Center as a Master Gardener. I spoke on companion planting, drawing from real practices on our USDA organic farm, and highlighted how intentional plant pairings can naturally improve soil health, reduce pests, and increase yields.

We also explored the deeper connection between organic farming and overall wellness—how the way we grow our food directly impacts the way we nourish our bodies. Healthy soil truly leads to healthy plants and, ultimately, healthier communities.

It was a joy to engage with such an enthusiastic group committed to learning and growing. Opportunities like this remind me why education and outreach are so important—when we share knowledge, we empower others to cultivate not just gardens, but healthier lifestyles.
