With a completely broken heart, I come to verify the rumors. Yes, DGE studio is closed. 😭 My heart is shattered having to write this but deep down I know this is the right thing to do for me at this time.

Back in November, I was in ICU for several days and ever since I just haven’t been the same. I’ve always been sick but pushed through it because I don’t want to be that person who lets their illnesses define who they are however, it has come to a point that I’m unable to continue serving my community the way I want to. If you’ve ever been to see me, you know I take the upmost pride in providing the absolute BEST facial experience you could ever imagine. My body will not allow me to give you that experience any longer and I refuse to provide my clients with anything other than extreme excellence.

I opened DGE in the back of a hair salon (shout out to my besties at SarahAshley Salon!) in the middle of the pandemic in October, 2020. I had no clue I’d grow so well there that I’d be able to open my own storefront location in popular downtown Mocksville and grow EVEN BIGGER than I’d imagine! My books became FILLED with clients and what started out as just a little dream became my actual full-time career, something I’d never thought would happen! I set some HUGE goals and I’m so proud to say that I met almost every single one of them.

Even though I set and met goals, I can’t help but feel like I’m failing my clients and myself. Well, not myself but my body. I know God has a plan and will continue to use me for His glory. I’ll just have to continue to have faith and trust that this is NOT the end of DGE forever.

THANK YOU to my clients. THANK YOU to the lifelong friends I’ve made doing this little thing I’ve called my “job” but has really been my passion.
