ABOUT LAZY BLUE SKY - AQHA
π΄π©΅ π«οΈ
This page is dedicated to Lazy Blue Sky, barn name Ocala. He is an American Quarter Horse gelding. Ocala is loved by Abagail Lee. The pair have an inseparable bond that is very deep! As of 2026, Ocala is 7 years old and Abagail is 17 years old. They found each other April 2023. Ocala was a late 3 year old, Abagail was 14 years old. Both were very green in riding and had a long journey to discovering each other, goals, and dreams.
While Ocala's dreams may be different, he is really just looking for his flake of alfalfa π. Abagail dreams of learning the AQHA ropes for Ranch Riding, Trail and Rail. In the first year of actual AQHA Showing the pair Nationally Qualified for the AQHA Youth World Show in Oklahoma City, OK. The pair attended the show in 2 ranch classes and placed mid-way in both with very large classes over 100 entries. Over the course of two years of consistently showing in the Virginia and North Carolina AQHA shows they have won multiple All Around trophies thru AQHA, Versatility Ranch Horse trophy, a lot of championships and circuits. They are generally very on point with each show and a lovely pair to watch. Please keep in mind they have no trainer and have done all their work on their own. πͺ
This page was created to bring entertainment, knowledge, personal markers on progress and just in general keeping up with Ocala. THIS PAGE DOES NOT TOLERATE ABUSIVENESS, FOUL LANGUAGE AND REPEATED ARGUMENTS!! YOU WILL BE BANNED!!!
We welcome all the new people who follow along our journey! We can wait to see where the years take us.. π«Άπ«οΈπ©΅

Finally back to my boy ππ©΅βοΈ
After getting my wisdom teeth out last Wednesday (7-1-26) I haven't been able to take care of Ocala so my dad took care of him everyday for me. He made sure that Ocala always had his essentials Grain, alfalfa, water, sunshine and fly spray. When day 4 came of me being down we noticed that the right side of my face kept swelling up and wasn't like the other side. Long story short there was an infection on that side which we had to go back and have cut open and drained out... It was no fun but at least now I'm healing up and can get back on schedule. π
Today Ocala got the full works because he was starting to smell like a horse ( if you know what I mean )
Washed mane, tail, and body π«§π§Ό
Ocala now has fresh braids and a belly full of alfalfa π
