Today, on National Hairstylist Day, I just want to take a moment to reflect on how much this career truly means to me.

Being a hairstylist is so much more than cutting hair. It’s about connection. It’s about trust. It’s about the conversations, the laughs, the quiet moments, and the confidence that walks out of my chair with every single client. I get to be part of people’s lives in a way that’s real and personal—and that is something I never take for granted.

To my clients—thank you. Thank you for trusting me, for sitting in my chair, for sharing your stories, and for supporting my journey. You’re the reason I get to do what I love every single day. You’re not just clients to me—you’re part of my extended family.

This career has challenged me, shaped me, and blessed me in ways I never expected. And I’m so grateful I get to wake up and do something that helps people feel like the best version of themselves.
