Why use PET bottles and not glass bottles for your beard oil?
Most beard oil makers use glass bottles and most of them are brown. We don’t like the look of these brown bottles, so we wanted an alternative. PET has 4 advantages.
1. They are more sustainable. Sounds a bit strange, but research showed that when you take everything into account (production, transportation etc) PET won.
2. Glass bottles require extra packaging material... meaning an increased price for our customers which personally, I don’t like.
3. Brown bottles are ugly.
4. This only came up much later in the process, but when you drop your beard oil, the PET bottle will bounce right back, saving you money and glass pieces all over your bathroom.
