I have a last minute opening for a cut and color this Wednesday the 10th at 4:45. This is the only cut/color opening I have before the holidays!

Effective immediately, I am asking that all clients (regardless of vaccination status) resume wearing a mask while inside the salon. As always, I will have disposable masks available if needed. With the new COVID variant swirling around, we need to double-down our efforts to protect the most vulnerable people in our lives.

As we enter the next phase of reopening, I want to take a moment to thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for your continued support and to inform you of our updated COVID protocols.

With the local mask mandate lifting this week, my colleagues and I have been agonizing over the best and safest way to move forward while taking into account the needs of all of our guests. (Safety and sanitation are, after all, the primary focus of our education and licensing.)

My suite-mate Philip and I are both fully vaccinated and we are so excited to transition to a more “normal” salon experience. However, we both have vulnerable clients, colleagues and family who are unable to be vaccinated at this time. (Immuno-compromised, cancer patients, children 11 and under, etc.) Since we work in a shared space and, with safety in mind, we ask that our unvaccinated guests continue to wear a mask.

We will continue to follow all of our sanitation practices including disinfecting surfaces and tools between appointments, providing clean capes and towels to every guest, frequent hand washing/sanitizer, etc.

Our waiting areas and common spaces are back to full capacity so, when you arrive for your appointment, you may continue to text me from your car (608.213.1109) or, you are welcome to enter the building and wait outside my suite.

As some of you already know, we have resumed all shampooing and BLOW DRYING services! (Wow, I really missed blow drying! I know you did too.)

While we are thrilled to have the choice to work without a mask on, we will happily and without question, wear a mask at anyone’s request, at any time.

Because we work in a shared space I will do my best to accommodate anyone who may prefer an appointment where we are alone in the suite. (Please know that those days and times are very limited.)

As always, we will continue to follow local and national health and safety guidelines closely and adapt our policies accordingly. We ask that you refrain from coming to your appointment if you are sick or are showing any symptoms of COVID.

Lastly, as our lives return to full swing, my books are too. I’m thrilled that appointments are filling up fast (and SO SO GRATEFUL!) but I don’t want anyone to be disappointed. I highly recommend going online and booking out as far as you can. (I can also book your appointments for you if you need me to!)
