nce during a difficult journey. I was always astonished that I didn’t see more patients benefiting from this service. Fast forward years later to meeting a woman who was a permanent makeup artist. Since I had never met an actual artist, I was more intrigued now than ever before. We shared our stories of being passionate about helping people. I also learned that she was ready to exit the business to follow another passion. She informed me of a school, Globally Preferred, that was only 15 minutes from my home in Evansville, WI. I called the school and they had an opening in their classes the very next week. That is when my career as an artist started. I immediately signed up and took every class the school offered. That also enrolled in the para medical tattoo classes. I furthered my education at Younique Images in Orlando, FL under a master trainer. I trained one on one to further the exact education I was in need off. I continue to train on a regular basis as the industry is evolving dramatically almost on a daily basis. Currently, I have obtained 10 certifications. I practice with the highest of standards, using only medical grade equipment, inks and numbing agents. This quick recap brings us to where I am at today. I started my permanent cosmetics career in Lake Geneva at Mia Faccia. I currently have three locations after adding Janesville and Monona within a very short period of time. The need in our communities for the services I provide was much larger than I had imagined. Permanent cosmetics is becoming main stream and extending far beyond the medical realm. Men and women are enjoying cosmetic tattooing to correct abnormalities, save time or just create an incredible care free look. As a Tattoo Artist, I provide both Cosmetic and Medical services. My services include: Eyebrows (including 3D), Eyeliner, Lips (full or liner), Scar Relaxation, Skin Camouflaging, Age Spot Removal, Areola’s, Derma Rolling, Skin Needling, Anti-Aging, Face-Lift Alternatives, Acne Scar Reduction, Teeth Whitening and more. My most recent addition has been Eyelash Extensions. Eyelash extensions are the perfect way to achieve a subtle hint of glamour! At that point I started searching for a skin care company I could partner with. I was very impressed when I found Rodan + Fields. I found them by searching for collagen induction therapy and derma rolling. They have the same beliefs that I have and the science to prove it. Now as I partner with them most of my clients benefit from derma rolling at home and visiting me for medical grade treatments for maintenance. My medical background contributed greatly to my success. My education and clinical experiences made me extremely comfortable with the devices and the clients from day one. I also understand the emotional trauma of cancer, Parkinson’s, loss of vision and other medical circumstances that contribute to clients making that initial phone call. At the age of 50 I now also understand the turmoils of the aging process itself. I am very blessed to have found this opportunity and even more blessed to have it as a career.
