I just wanted to take a moment to express gratitude for all of you that support my little business 🧡💛 I look back over the last 10 years (some of you have been in my chair that long already 😱) and feel incredibly thankful for everyone who has trusted me with all things hair! Thanks for the laughs, the tears, the pep talks, the advice, the wisdom and everything.in between. Much love to all! I couldn't do it without your support!

Summer can take a toll on my blonde babes. It could be UV damage, the sun stripping your color, the chlorine or salt water sucking the life out of your hair or just skipping an appointment to squeeze in one last vacation- I've got the cure for that!

Subtle, not a ton of maintenance but something a little different 👍

Magnolia flowers are among the oldest flowering plants on Earth, and they evolved long before bees existed. According to Smithsonian Gardens, magnolias first appeared over 95 to 100 million years ago, during the Cretaceous period, when dinosaurs still roamed the planet. At that time, bees and butterflies hadn’t yet evolved, so magnolias formed a partnership with the insects that were available, beetles.

This ancient relationship shaped the magnolia’s floral structure. Their large, bowl-shaped flowers are ideal for beetles to crawl into, and their thick, leathery petals can withstand the clumsy movements of these early pollinators. Unlike bees, beetles don’t hover or collect nectar, they simply plow through the flower in search of pollen, often leaving a mess behind. But in doing so, they get coated in pollen and carry it to the next bloom, completing the pollination process.

Magnolias also produce a strong, fruity scent that attracts beetles, which rely more on smell than sight. This scent mimics the aroma of fermenting fruit, making the flowers irresistible to their ancient pollinators.

The goal was to bring her hair closer to her natural color for a better grow out between appointments. It was a battle against non professional color but it came out perfect!

Breaking it up into 2 processes helped her keep all of that length 🫶
