Can you take a natural level 2 or 3 to a beautiful blonde? Absolutely.
Can it be done in one appointment? Most of the time, no and it shouldn’t be.

Beautiful hair is a marathon, not a race.
One of the biggest mistakes I continue to see is overlapping lightener.
Cosmetology 101 teaches us that once hair has been lightened, you should avoid repeatedly applying bleach over the previously lightened sections unless there’s a very specific reason and technique for doing so.

Why?

Because previously lightened hair especially levels 9 and 10, is already the most fragile part of the strand.
Repeated lightening can lead to:

•Severe breakage
•Elastic, gummy hair
•Banding
•Split ends
• Hair snapping near the scalp

And when that happens, we’re often talking about losing inches of hair, not just needing another toner.
