I was born and raised in Monroe, NC and have always been passionate about hair. I was the girl in school who was always braiding her hair in class or doing her friends’ hair for events. After high school, I attended UNC Wilmington where I earned a degree in Psychology. I loved all of the things I learned and was determined to become a children and family counselor. But as I dived deeper into that world, I couldn’t shake the feeling that the hair and beauty industry was where I ultimately belonged.

So, in 2023 I took a leap of faith and started the Stanly Cosmetology program, and the rest is history. Now I can see that my passion for caring for people coincides beautifully with my love of doing hair! I want to help people feel confident and beautiful in their own skin!

We are having a drop in shower for Amanda Crump this Friday from 10am-3pm. Amanda recently became a first time grandmother to the sweetest twin boys, Lucca and Liam. I know they already have a lot of size 1 diapers, but newborn and size 2 would be great. Crib sheets and bassinet sheets are also needed and gift cards and wipes are always great too!
