In this episode of Between Two White Coats, Dr. Michelle Plaster and Nurse Practitioner Amber Foster break down what causes fatty liver, how metabolic health, diabetes, weight, and diet can impact your liver, and why this often-silent condition deserves more attention.
They also explain FibroScan, a noninvasive technology that can measure liver fat and fibrosis and help identify liver disease earlier—when there may still be an opportunity to reverse the damage.

Whitney Capps is a woman whose faith, friendship and testimony have personally touched members of our Our Family Health team. Both Dr. Plaster and Amber Foster have shared how deeply Whitney’s life, friendship and grace-filled perspective have impacted them—and today, our team is honored to help share the beautiful work she has created.
