In April of 2025 I placed my first Pact organic cotton leggings order in XL. Today after all of the consistency with lymphatic drainage massages, using a infrared himalayan salt sauna, vibration plate, dry brushing and working on my relationship with food, I am in a size Large 🥹

I'm tellin' ya what...
One of the biggest life hacks is spending money on the groceries that makes you excited to eat at home. 💛

This is a buttered croissant toasted while I cooked one egg and a maple flavored sausage patty. Laid a slice of organic white cheddar cheese over the sausage patty to get it to melt a little bit, with a drizzle of honey and construct it to make this. 🤤
YUMMO!

They're so much information out there about healthy lifestyles that it can be really overwhelming. Here are some things I constantly reflect on over the last 20 years of learning about food, my body, and just simply existing in the world that we live in today.

"What does my body need, what does my body want, what am I planning to do later."

Protein in the morning is one of the easiest ways I found myself to set up for success. One of my favorite foods ever is a bagel with cream cheese! When I think about what my body wants, it's typically that. Sometimes I wake up and I have a bagel, but it's typically paired with thinking about what I'm doing later. For example if I know in the evening I'm going to a party where pizza is being served, a bagel is probably not the best option to eat in the morning. If it's something that I really truly want I'll have the bagel, but I stop for a moment and think about it. Could I eat eggs or avocado toast instead? Sometimes the answer is yes, sometimes the answer is no. Because, when you're truly craving something and take a moment to think about it you're giving your body what it wants. Sometimes the want just doesn't go away and it leads to mental stress because you're constantly thinking about what you eight versus what you truly wanted.

Protein is very important to get into our diet because it is not always easily accessible outside of the home. Does anyone really want to eat a plain unseasoned unflavored chicken breast in the name of consuming protein for a meal? I don't! It's easier for me to get beans, avocado, eggs and cheese into my diet at home versus trying to find other protein options outside of my home when I'm in a rush during the day.

This morning I had avocado toast because I was in a rush and it was the easiest, quickest way for me to get a little bit of protein into my stomach. The plan tonight is to go to a pizza party. Will there be salad there that I could eat with the pizza? Not sure! But I know that I've had avocado toast this morning so I most certainly can have a couple of pieces of pizza later and supplement with a salad at home or fruit to fill in more nutritious choices.

Sometimes you just want what you want, but when do you really break it down...can you have 150 carbs in a day and expect to lose weight and feel your best? The answer is just, no! Can you have caffeinated coffee, no water, and high calorie sodas or drinks throughout the day and feel your best? The answer is, no!

To me this is the only way to live that's sustainable. It's not about being the smallest number on the scale and it's not about being your heaviest and not thinking about it. It's about having self control, making good choices and living life to its fullest!

If you like Subways Italian Herb & Cheese bread then this one's for you!
This bread is over by the deli at Meijer.
I'm using it today to make a homemade breakfast sandwich.

Currently eating this with Breyers Carb Smart Vanilla Bean Ice Cream 😍🤤

Black Bean Brownies Using Aldi Gluten-Free Brownie Mix

1 box LiveGfree gluten-free brownie mix
1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed very well
2 eggs
1/4 cup avocado oil
3 tbsp water
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup chocolate chips
flaky salt on top

Instructions
Preheat oven to 325°F.
Grease or line an 8x8 pan with parchment.
In a blender or food processor, blend:
black beans
eggs
oil
water/coffee
vanilla
Blend until completely smooth. This is the key to avoiding any bean texture.
Stir the brownie mix into the bean mixture until fully combined.
Fold in chocolate chips if using.
Spread into the pan.
Bake 38 minutes
Fully set center = more cake-like
Cool completely before cutting. They firm up a lot as they cool.

One of the easiest dinners ever!
I put this raw chicken in my slow cooker covered in vegetable stock this morning at 8:30am on low. Came home from work tonight and made this Pad Thai dinner from Aldi on the stovetop while I had an egg roll in the air fryer.
I diced the cooked chicken breast and added it to the noodles.
It was soo yummy!
Try it :)
