We are looking for 3 models to participate in a LIVE educational class at Michigan College of Beauty where Jenna Lieb will be teaching The Art of Vivids! 🌈✨

We are looking for models who are excited about creative color and comfortable being part of a live demonstration for cosmetology students.

Ideal candidates:
✨ Open to vivid/fashion colors
✨ Healthy hair that’s suitable for a color transformation
✨ Comfortable having photos and videos taken during the class
✨ Able to commit to the scheduled class date (date TBD)

What you’ll receive:
💜 A professional vivid color service performed live by Jenna Lieb, Owner of Monroe House of Beauty
💜 A unique experience helping future cosmetologists learn
💜 Professional before & after photos

These are my personal Kamisori shears, and they’ve been with me since 2012. At the time, this pair cost around $800, making them one of the most expensive tools I’ve ever purchased—and without question, my most beloved.

Many people don’t realize that hairstylists invest thousands of dollars into their craft. Between color, education, tools, products, and equipment, the costs add up quickly. But if you ask most stylists what tool they treasure most, the answer is usually their shears.

The name Kamisori literally translates to “razor” in Japanese. The Kamisori brand is known worldwide for producing high-performance Japanese-style haircutting shears, and the craftsmanship behind them is incredible. Each pair goes through a meticulous 93-step handcrafted process, and many premium models are forged using layered Damascus steel—the same ancient steel-folding technique associated with historic samurai swords.

After having these shears for 14 years behind the chair, these shears have helped me create thousands of haircuts, transformations, and memories. They’ve traveled through multiple salons, career changes, and now Monroe House of Beauty.

Not bad for a tool that’s older than some of my clients. ❤️✂️
