🌺 What does “Independence Without Isolation” mean at Monroe House of Beauty? 🌺

It means having the freedom to run your own beauty business without having to work alone.

Monroe House of Beauty is an open-floor booth rental salon, and that makes our model a little different.

We are not a salon-suite concept. We are built around a collaborative mindset.

Every beauty professional is independent. But instead of everyone working separately behind closed doors, independent professionals share an open salon environment.

Think of it like multiple small businesses operating under one roof.

Everyone gets to build something of their own while still having the atmosphere of a salon around them—conversation, other professionals working nearby, opportunities for referrals, sharing knowledge, exchanging ideas and simply having people around who understand the industry.

And collaboration goes both ways.

It isn’t about one person being the mentor or having all the answers. Everyone brings something to the table.

Someone with 20 years of experience can learn something from someone with two. One professional may specialize in blonding, another in vivids, extensions, textured hair, cutting or styling. Trends change, techniques evolve, and there is always something new to learn from the person working beside you.

That’s the kind of environment an open-floor salon can create:

Licensed stylists: we have booth rental space available at Monroe House of Beauty in downtown Monroe. We’re looking to connect with a stylist who has their own clients and wants a welcoming place to grow their independent business. Booth rent is $150/week. Message us to see the space and talk through what’s included. If you know someone who might be a fit, we’d appreciate you sharing this with them. 🤍
