Transitioning from relaxed & color treated hair is not for the faint of heart. As your hair grows out you’ll notice a line of demarcation, which separates the new growth from the chemically treated hair. The hair below the demarcation line is often thinner, fragile and susceptible to breakage. Consistent hair care is critical at this stage so frequent trims, strengthening and moisturizing treatments are recommended.

Everyone is not ready for the big chop so I suggest working with your stylist to find a happy medium.

For this beauty, I added 1 row of to give her a little bit of fullness and to conceal some of the breakage.
