Kissable Lips

Today being October 1st the beginning of Breast Cancer Awareness month thought I would share my first experience with having a Mammogram. I am technically not old enough for my first Mammogram but since my mom is 2x breast cancer survivor premenopause it makes me a candidate for early mammograms! So ladies get your bo***es checked! Early detection can save lives. And so to kick start this month I have decided to do a give away for the month. I just had to share this gem!! My mom is a 2x breast cancer survivor so she has a few wigs for when she lost her hair. We were over at her house on Monday and we were looking for a sweater my nana had knitted for me when I was an infant and we placed this wig on my little Hannah!! Lol she is such a trooper to let me play with her like this.

I don't know what other households are like but at my house Mondays are my biggest day for housework and chores. Its like this because the weekends are for family time, adventures, living room campouts, church and snuggles. So today i threw on a fun premix of mojave, caramel apple and cappuccino and wore some sunglasses to go get a coke because these kiddos (2 toddler boys and a 4 month princess) have been a little unhinged. The baby and the middle child are teething and the 2.5 yr old is just a grumpersaurus rex. So needless to say NOTHING has been accomplished. Still trying, still hoping.

I want to feel human and not so blah everyday...so I have started as part of my routine to get ready every day even if i am not going to leave the house. So today i am wearing Caramel Apple Lipsense. I love this beautiful pink color. Its soft and very beautiful. Makes me feel feminine without being over powering. DM me if you would like one.

I remember exactly where I was when i learned of the attack on September 11th. I remember how the day felt thick and orange. I remember feeling scared and uncertain. And i am thankful for the men and woman who since then have stood as our military to protect us and make us feel safe again.

I love having a daughter. I never thought I would say that. I always wanted a house full of boys but she has been such a joy these last 4 months. I hope i can be the kind of mom that shows her how to love herself and be a kind intelligent woman.

Running around with the dog and kids today! I know this color is no longer carried but i still love it.

I can feel the weather is finally starting to turn ever so slightly to that fall temp. Fingers crossed it comes soon, I am soooo over running the AC! But seriously, am I right?

Today I am wearing Caramel Latte. Its one of my all time favorite colors. Its so pretty.
