"Houseless not homeless 🌺

It's been one year since I hit the road to California and started living out of my Westy.

I really didn't know what this would entail but I'm certain nobody could've laid it all out for me. It took a bit getting used to: figuring out where is safe & legal to park, the routine of food, adjusting your bowels to a timely manner (having to s**t in the middle of the night or first thing in the morning was a nuisance; tbh at the beginning, I had to s**t in a bag twice 😂🤣), setting up good lighting for night time , micro organizing, living on minimal clothing, supplies, and space, routine of charging electronics at Starbucks (so happy I have my own power now, way too much coffee), and learning the method behind street cleaning from your OG street neighbors.

I started off this journey in Venice, parked a street from the beach next to people who paid $2200 a month for a studio. I met my best friend Lee and learned the behind the scene dirty details of the boardwalk of Venice. I took one of the hardest hits of my life and lost my baby girl Zazu and found myself unable to stay in once place, so I took off. To the desert of Vegas then off to San Francisco. I went to Oregon where I rode up with Heather and a bunch of hippies in a school bus to go mushroom picking. I went back down deep in the mountains for North Cal to trim w**d in a beautiful cabin in the woods, having manifested plentiful financial substance. I flew to Texas, came back to go to Arizona for a festival, back to the beach where I painted, played music, and gave out free joints with new friends from all over the country. I found myself gratefully on a boat in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean to visit the Bahamas. I can back, chased desert parties and then road off east to Texas, where I got to see friends at Middlelands and the my favorite ever, Texas burn Flipside. For my summer I spent in my two favorite states, Colorado and Oregon

Ive been rent free for a year and a half
I've made national forests my home. I've taken scary dirt roads at night to wake up to beautiful sceneries found only on gift cards. I've made friends from all over the country and now making some from different parts of the world. I've driven 18k miles and flown 5500, im able to leave on any whim to any destination. I live on nobody else's time but my own. I've had more beautiful views from my home than one person will see their entire lifetime

I live moment to moment. I live for me.
I belong to no city and I'm free. Adventure awaits around every corner and the possibilities are endless. The open roads are the veins to my heart and I've never found a love more pure."

This writing marks when I was on the road for a year living out of my VW I called Nugget. Just wanted to share it again with you guys cuz I'm really missing my Westy
