Desuar is a private day spa dedicated to providing customers with high-end therapeutic massages, facials, body wraps, body scrubs and eyebrow services.
Serving the diverse DTLA, Hollywood and Monterey community and visitors. Reset and renew at our exquisite DESUAR Monterey at Casa Munras, where guests experience personal healing as well as relaxing and high-end treatments. Our private Spa incorporates a fundamental philosophy to the human experience: the quest for a balanced lifestyle. The Spa’s carefully curated ambiance pays homage to the Spanish-style Casa Munras Garden Hotel & Spa. The hacienda esthetic features warm, natural wood tones, and high ceilings complimented by contemporary decor. Peaceful relaxation lounges appointed with comfortable seating have access to the al fresco hot tub. Owner Deisy Suarez-Giles created the Spa’s interior. Her world travels inspired the restful haven where guests relax, unwind, and gain a sense of calm wellness. “Balancing mind and body create a new state of mental and physical health, beauty, and self-esteem,” explains Suarez-Giles. DESUAR Monterey at Casa Munras is the third in a collection of famous spas created by Suarez-Giles. DESUAR Los Angeles and DESUAR Hollywood have a loyal following of locals and visitors alike. “We are thrilled to bring our signature brand of style and relaxation to the Central Coast,” says Suarez-Giles. Located on California’s stunning central coast, Monterey draws visitors from around the world to experience area attractions including the renowned Monterey Bay Aquarium, popular Cannery Row, and historic Old Fisherman’s Wharf. Monterey Bay is home to abundant sea life. Opportunities abound to experience the Bay whether by boat, kayak, or paddle-board. Monterey Bay is also known for its world-class SCUBA diving. DESUAR Monterey Spa at Casa Munras is within walking distance to downtown Monterey and the Monterey Conference Center.

A few small things guests skip because they're in a hurry.
Don't skip them.
Save this for your next appointment.

Most facials ask you to disappear for a few days afterward, which is fine until you actually have somewhere to be.
HydraFacial is the one you can book close to something that matters, because it cleans, exfoliates and hydrates in a single session without leaving your skin red or flaking.
Save this for the next time you've got something on the calendar.

We say we treat you like royalty, and then people show up five minutes early and skip the entire castle.
The robe. The slippers. The sauna. All of it is included, none of it needs booking, and all of it disappears if you arrive on the dot.
Thirty minutes early is the whole difference. Send this to whoever's coming with you.

Sometimes your face gives you clues before you realize something is going on.🥹
Most likely, it’s your phone, we think that you nedd to check which cheek is worse. That’s probably the side you usually hold it on.
But it’s not always that simple.
Changes in different areas of your face can have different contributing factors, which is why we look beyond the surface.
With facial mapping, we look for patterns that can help us understand what may be contributing to what you’re seeing. 👀
From there, we can recommend a treatment tailored to you.
