An era is ending. The OG who’s been with me since day 1. Jen, my alien loving, conspiracy theory guru who keeps me up to date, and an instant friend who became family over the years.

Thank you for trusting me and sticking with me all these years. You were patient, kind, and a level head when I needed it. I remember asking my mom how to interview when I was meeting up with you and as soon as you sat down I said something along the lines of, “I know I’m suppose to interview you, but I like you already.” And that lunch date sealed the deal of the Jens at Headquarters Hair Salon and confusing clients with our same name.

I will miss our many quirky moments of making random noises or gestures at each other with no conversation needed. Seeing each others weirdness and running with it, will always be my favorite thing about us. Or noticing when one of us is quieter and being the calm and support we needed. We always have had grace, patience, and understanding of each other.

I hate to break it to you, but you weirded me in and I’m not going anywhere. I’ll always be here to encourage and support you even if it means leaving to chase your dream.

I am so excited for this next journey for you and to see what you do with your space.
