Seville at Hilltop

Update: Thank you to everyone who has been checking in on me. I don’t think I have the words for how much your love has meant while I’ve been in the hospital. This has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to push through, and the days have felt long and heavy.

I am slowly recovering, inch by inch, but it’s been rough, and I’m doing my best to stay present and gentle with myself. My energy is really limited, so if I’m quiet or not responding, please know it’s not because I don’t feel your support. I do. I feel every bit of it.

Thank you for holding space for me while I heal, for giving me grace, and for reminding me I’m not doing this alone. I’m on the mend, even if it’s slow, and your kindness has been a lifeline. 🩷

Our friend Jen is one of the most giving people we know, and now she needs our help.

Almost a month ago, she got pneumonia, which has led to an extended hospital stay, a collapsed lung, blood clots, and a whole list of other complications.

She’ll be in the hospital for at least another week and then out of work indefinitely while she focuses on recovering.
