Making it through the busy season and feeling like yourself again aren’t always the same thing.
Sometimes, we need a little time to notice what all that “busy” actually left behind.
Save this as a tool to come back to when you have a quiet moment. Slow down, check in with yourself, and notice what you might need mentally, emotionally, and physically to feel a little more like you again. 🤎

September can make us want to get organized, get ahead, and get back into a routine. But here’s your reminder that a good routine isn’t just one that makes you productive.
It should support YOU, too. ✨
Maybe that means leaving a little more margin in your mornings. Protecting your evenings. Getting outside. Saying no without over explaining. Making time for therapy, rest, movement, or the people who help you feel like yourself.
As you settle into September, don’t just ask, “How can I get more done?”
Ask, “What would help me feel more supported while I do it?”
Your routine should make space for your mental health, not ask you to sacrifice it.

Together, we’ll create space to talk honestly, build healthier boundaries, learn practical tools for managing stress, and connect with other women who get it.

Sometimes it sounds more like:
“My stomach hurts.”
“I don't want to go.”
“What if no one sits with me?”
“I can't sleep.”
“Can you stay with me?”
“I hate school.”
A new school year brings a LOT of change, and even kids who are excited can feel overwhelmed by new teachers, routines, expectations and friendships.
A few ways you can help:
→ Keep routines predictable. Knowing what to expect can help school days feel a little less overwhelming.
→ Ask specific questions. Instead of “How was school?” try “What felt easy today?” or “Was there anything that made you nervous?”
→ Validate before you fix. Sometimes “That sounds really hard” is more helpful than immediately trying to solve the problem.
→ Practice the scary parts. Walk through drop-off, talk about what lunchtime might look like, or make a plan for what they can do when they feel nervous.
→ Pay attention when anxiety starts interfering with everyday life. If school worries are consistently affecting sleep, eating, relationships, physical symptoms or their ability to attend school, it may be time for some extra support.
And remember: the goal isn't to make sure your child never feels anxious.
It's to help them learn, “I can feel anxious AND I can handle what comes next.” 💛
That's a skill they'll carry far beyond the classroom.

We're claiming it now... back to balance is kinda chic. ✨💅

August often brings a shift in routines, responsibilities, and expectations. As students head back to school, parents juggle new schedules, educators prepare for a fresh year, and many adults begin refocusing on goals after summer, it's a season of transition.
If things feel a little heavier than usual, you're not imagining it. Back-to-school season can bring excitement, anticipation, stress, and anxiety—all at the same time.
As you move into a new routine this month, remember to extend yourself the same grace you so freely give to others. And if you need a little extra support along the way, know that you don't have to navigate this season alone. 💙
