I appreciate everyone’s enthusiasm on the announcement of an opening date for our industry here in Alabama. With that being said, we DO NOT have a date for our salon just yet. This is due to the lack of information given to us by the state board of cosmetology. Once we receive our new health and safety guidelines, that not only protect US—-but YOU as well we can start our opening process. We, stylists, are required to sanitize more and use disposable gloves. We are competing with stylists all over the nation for supplies that are now required of us, some of these are back ordered. Please be patient with us. This is uncharted territory for us as professionals and we do have your best interests as well as our staffs. We ask for grace and patience during this time.

I will get in touch with everyone that had a scheduled appointment first, then I will reach out to people who have been inquiring for a new appointment.

We will be closed until the 15th of MAY as of now. I am not going to start rescheduling until we get a positive reopening date from Governor Ivey, as I don't want to get your hopes up :( I will do my very best to keep you all updated as I get information.

Dear clients,

Tomorrow morning I will be tuning in to see what our Governor has planned for reopening the state. With the current state of the Covid19 pandemic, we will be adhering to new health guidelines and regulations that will help protect you and our staff once we return.

To accommodate all of the Dougs2 staff and clientele I will be working a limited number of days in the salon. I will be reaching out to all of you this week about scheduling/rescheduling appointments.

Dear sweet clients,

I know that this has not been easy for anyone. I am ready to get back to you and your gorgeous hair ASAP. With recent news we may get to see each other soon. 😁

Governor Ivey is to review the proposed plan to reopen the economy and then make her decision. Once she does that, it will be my responsibility and our salon’s responsibility to adhere to the new state board guidelines for your safety and the safety of our staff. This may possibly change my current schedule to accommodate new social distancing rules. Please be patient with me and the Dougs 2 staff as we enter this new way of salon life in the next coming weeks.

At this moment, until further instruction from the State on re-opening, I have stopped all scheduling. I have a list of clients to contact for rescheduling, and I will do my very best to take care of you all.

Please don’t forget I am reachable via phone, Facebook, Instagram, or email. Don’t hesitate to ask me anything, I will do my best to answer any questions you have.

UPDATE:
All salons will be closed until April 17th @5 pm per the State of Alabama.

Please be patient with me as I work through my upcoming schedule this weekend and reach out to you personally.
