Grey transformations like this are not a simple color appointment. They’re incredibly detailed, tedious, and require a whole lot of patience, precision, and understanding of color.

Today I spent the day with Gabby at Salon Pearl, sharing everything I know about grey transformations while we worked side-by-side to create this result. Nine hours later… THIS. 🙌🏼

One of my favorite parts of owning a salon is being able to pass along what I’ve learned over the years to the next generation of stylists. There’s something pretty special about taking on a challenging service together and watching all those hours of work come together in the end.

And can we talk about this blend?! 😍 Her natural grey now flows beautifully into her previously colored hair—soft, seamless and so much easier to maintain as she continues embracing her grey.

A very long day, but absolutely worth it. 🤍
