Many of you know Bella, but for those who don’t, she is so much more than a pet—she’s family, a constant companion, and my emotional support animal.

Like many Huskies, Bella loves to run and play. Recently, she was doing what Huskies do best—getting the zoomies with her brothers around the house. In a heartbreaking accident, she slid into a table, causing the glass top to shatter and fall onto her foot & carpal joint being partially severed. The injury was severe and required emergency surgery.

Thankfully, Bella came through surgery successfully, but her recovery is far from over. In addition to the surgery costs, she must have her cast removed and replaced every few days to ensure proper healing. The expenses have quickly climbed to nearly $5,000 and the ongoing treatments continue to add to that total.

Bella has been by my side through some of life’s most difficult moments. She provides comfort when anxiety is high, companionship when days feel long, and unconditional love every single day. Seeing her in pain has been heartbreaking, but we’re doing everything possible to help her heal and get back to the happy, playful girl she has always been.
