Why is it that it takes forever for the weekend to arrive, yet Monday gets here speedy fast?
A few countries like Spain, Portugal and Germany have or are currently conducting trial runs of the four day work weeks; could the U.S. be next? Likely not but it would be kinda cool to have shorter weeks to have more time at home with family and friends.

With that said, my “Monday” starts tomorrow and is shaping up to be a busy week thanks to all of you awesome folks!
Booked solid but that doesn’t mean an appt won’t open up as cancellations happen all of the time. Be sure to add yourself to the waitlist so you’ll be notified when one does open up!
Don’t forget to give at least two hours when possible if you’re not going to make your appt so someone else might fill your spot. You can manage appt’s from the text received at booking to add, change or cancel your appt.
A “no show, no call” blocks ability to further schedule so please do your part and give ample time if you won’t be making your appt.

Welp, it feels like October, naturally I need a pumpkin pie flavor of something, put out the fall decor, cook some chili and throw on the fuzzy socks ya’ll!🍁🍂

It’s been a busy few weeks of back to School and now that the kids are settling in to their new routines, so are all of us! For this gal, no more rushed mornings fighting the School parking lot, Win!! No more “mom can you bring me here or there,” win, win!!! Well, it’s all part of the routine and I’m totally fine with it and I’m sure I’ll miss the old at some point but for now, no missing it!😆

Well I had to jump on the Ai Gordon Ramsay photo that I’m seeing all over the FB train and seriously how cool that he’s just over the river at Lake Cafe! I wonder what other restaurants he’ll revamp in MN. Which “foodie” places should he visit? 🍔🌮🥪🥗

Hey there and Happy Monday to ya’ll!
To make matters worse, I saw a snow plow yesterday and screamed to the fella” put that thang away, it’s not October yet!” 🤪😆
But on a real note, the earliest snowfall was back in August of 1949 in Duluth where a small amount of the white stuff fell from the sky! 😬😪
On another note…

I’ll be back at Tuesday through Friday after four weeks of straight Saturdays. I’m in the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month but back to School is always a crunch so I through in a few extra with the demand.

Today I’ll be in the shop as I have a groom, his brother and Dad in for pre Wedding day hair and beard trims. While it is Labor Day, I wanted to make sure these fellas could be together and celebrate this special occasion! 🔔 💒

Have a great day and week ahead. I did see 1:20 pop up tomorrow for an appt if anyone is looking. Otherwise it looks like the week of September 22nd is my next availability showing on my end but cancellations happen all of the time so be sure to check out waitlist.

One more week and kids are back hitting the 📚 books, do they still get books or is it online? Seeing old friends and making new ones too! “Make new friends but keep the old, one is silver and the other gold.” 🎶🎵
That’s a song my “littles” sang while in Kindergarten and rings so true at back to school time.
Don’t forget that just because you’re not in the same class as your bff from last year, you can still hang with them like before, they’re the gold in the song!👯‍♂️
I still remember the 1st couple days of School bringing in paper bags and as a class we would cover to protect the books from writing and such. We’d then proceed to “doodle,” add stickers and draw on our new covered “tablets” now that they had covers on them.
Ok I feel ancient about now!☎️👵🏻📼🗝️
-That’s ok, it’s all part of life and each generation hopefully gets a little better and advanced than the one before and I’m all for it.

On another note, the not so fun stuff.
I’ll be sending invoices (deposit goes towards haircut) Weds which need to be paid no later then Thursday. This confirms your son or daughter’s upcoming Saturday appt. A cancellation text will be sent out if not paid, sorry for any inconvenience.
