Ruby Kat Dreads

Hi friends!
Since it’s a new year and I haven’t done this in a while, I wanted to re-introduce myself!
My name is Kat. I am a born and raised Vermont dreadhead. My studio resides in Montpelier where I’ve been doing dread maintenance and starting others dread journey since 2018.
I myself have had two sets of dreads. One set for 8 years. Then, after a couple months of having them brushed out, I needed them back ASAP! My sister and I started them back up again two years ago and I couldn’t be happier!
I took a little hiatus during the pandemic but I am starting to take appointments again!

I hope everyone is staying healthy and enjoying your summer! I have been getting a lot of messages asking if I am booking appointments yet. I would love nothing more than to see all of you and work on your dreads but I would also hate to see any of us get sick in the process. I’m doing all the research I can to see how I can do your hair and keep us safe all while keeping up on the daily changes of this pandemic.
I will let everyone know (in my posts and messages) when and if I decide to open up my doors during this pandemic. Thank you for being patient and understanding!

The second picture is what her dreads looked like when I did them 1 YEAR AGO! The transformation that dreads go through in one year is incredible. Consistent maintenance and care for them will keep them looking the way you want! Anna did a great job of doing that! 🙏🏼

Marshalls 6 year old dreads needed a little touch up on the roots. Now he can feel the sun and breeze on that beautiful scalp! You dreadheads know what I’m talking about! 🤓
