✨After 7 years as a professional in the beauty industry something has shifted…and I can’t keep playing small with what I know. For a long time, I’ve been behind the chair perfecting, learning, mastering… and now it’s time to pour.
I’ve officially opened the doors to my mentorship.
This isn’t just about learning how to do hair.
This is about becoming the stylist that stays booked, moves with intention, and knows their value; without second guessing every step.
There are two ways to step in:
🌻 Bloom : where we build your foundation
🌻 Flourish : where we elevate you into your power
If you’ve been waiting for guidance, clarity, and real growth… this is your sign.
The door is open.
The question is… are you ready to walk through it?
Visit www.leanthestylist.com to explore your options and secure your seat while there’s space for you!✨
✨Everybody wants long hair… but are you protecting it or just holding onto it? Dead ends will have you thinking your hair isn’t growing, when really… it’s just breaking at the finish line.
Trimming isn’t a setback. It’s alignment.
If you’re serious about length retention, you have to be just as committed to release as you are to growth.
When you’re ready to stop babysitting damage and start growing with intention, book at www.leanthestylist.com ✨

✨What makes this salon experience different from others? I asked my Dionelis, who has been in my chair since her big chop in 2022👇🏾✨
“What makes this salon experience different from others is the connection Lean and I have built over the years.
Apart from her magical hands and the amount of healthy hair growth I currently have, we are able to decompress about our lives and build a community where we uplift one another. I have never had a connection with any other hairstylist. I think that connection is what makes my hair thrive! I also love that my daughter, who is autistic, is accepted in that space, and she, too, deserves to get a beautiful haircut.”
✨ Stop procrastinating on your self care, you know you deserve it 🫶🏾✨
✨Let me talk to the parents who be trying their best real quick 👀 Doing these babies' hair is a full production. Snacks, shows, mood swings, and negotiations like they paying bills 😅 But listen... you don't have to do it alone. If you didn't know, now you know that I offer a Lil' Naturals Service for my babies with crowns We're talking:
• Clean, neat styling
• Gentle hands (because tender heads are REAL)
• Cute accessories to bring it all together
All for $40.
You stay, you relax, you watch the transformation happen. No stress, no rushing, no tears if we can help it, because these babies deserve to look polished, and you deserve a little ease while it's happening!
Spots are limited, so don't wait until the night before school or picture day chaos hits. Go ahead and secure your baby's appointment today and give you both the break from hair day that you deserve 💛✨
✨Steam is quiet... but it does real work. Your hair doesn't need more product, it needs access, a way in.
When that steam hits, your cuticles gently open... and suddenly everything you've been applying can finally do its job. No more product just sitting on top looking pretty. Dry strands began to soften, moisture sinks in deeper, and breakage slows because hydrated hair bends instead of snapping.
Oh, and your scalp? Dead skin cells are easily removed and blood flow wakes up... which is where real growth begins. If you're trying to retain length, this is the part most people skip. Hydration isn't optional; it's the foundation.
But let's be honest...one steam session won't save neglected hair. Consistency is what changes the story.
So next time you deep condition, don't rush it.
Sit. Let the steam wrap around you and allow your hair to drink, because thirsty strands will always show you the truth.
Save yourself the extra work and join the VIP membership which includes steam treatments in your service✨

✨ Let’s talk about loc take down… because baby, this is not a “grab some scissors and vibes” type of situation. This is a process, a sacred unraveling and a slow return.
First things first, patience has to clock in before you do. Locs are formed through time, tension, product build-up, shedding, memories, and a whole lot of commitment. So when it’s time to release them, we’re not rushing. We’re respecting the journey on the way out just like we did on the way in.
The take down begins with deep saturation. I’m talking moisture that seeps into the core of the loc to soften years of compression. Conditioner, oils, warm water… this is where we start negotiating with the hair instead of fighting it. Dry loc take downs are for people who enjoy unnecessary suffering, we don’t live there.
Next comes the meticulous separation. Strand by strand shed hair is gently removed and knots are eased open. Sometimes we finger detangle, sometimes we comb. Other times we just sit in stillness and let the hair tell us how it wants to be handled. This is not aggressive, this is intentional.
You can expect shedding and tangles. You can expect moments where you question your life choices. This is completely normal. Remember, that hair has been held in formation for months or years. We are literally reintroducing it to freedom.
Length retention depends on how the locs were maintained, how mature they are, and how consistent moisture has been over time. Some people walk away with a full fro that makes them gasp. Others need strategic trimming and restructuring. Either way… we rebuild, not panic.
Once fully taken down, the hair requires a full reset. Clarifying. Deep conditioning. Protein balance if needed. Low manipulation styling while the strands remember how to be loose again. This is a transition phase, not the time to be playing hot potato with ten new styles in two weeks.
Loc take down is emotional, physical, and transformational. You’re not just changing a hairstyle… you are closing a chapter and opening another.
If you’re considering it, don’t DIY your destiny. Book with someone who understands both the science and the spirit of locs. Your hair will thank you later!✨
