We’re excited to introduce Judy Riley, artist and studio location host for the 2026 Lakeside Artists Studio Tour in Mooresville, NC.

From designing products for GE, Timex, Moen, and other major corporations to creating pottery in her Mooresville studio, Judy Riley brings a unique industrial design perspective to ceramics. She discovered pottery after hiking the Appalachian Trail in 2015 and now explores functional and playful techniques inspired by early and contemporary pottery, as well as the organic forms and patterns found in nature. 🌿

🏺 Meet Rick Luttrell — ceramic artist and studio host for the 2026 Lakeside Artists Studio Tour!

After a 45-year career teaching advanced mathematics, Rick established his ceramic studio on Lake Norman in 2015, turning his creativity and love of design toward clay.

Rick creates a diverse collection of wheel-thrown stoneware, from bowls, jars, and lidded vessels to an extensive line of platters. Working with natural clay and glaze colors, he also incorporates hand-painted and carved designs, making each piece a unique work of functional art. 🎨

A contemporary painter based in Mooresville, NC, Anne brings a distinctive graphic quality to her work, shaped by 15 years as an art director in New York City. Her paintings have been featured in national shows, galleries, museums, and distinguished art publications. Anne seeks a unique point of view, often discovering unexpected beauty in scenes others might overlook as ordinary.
