Dear friends, clients, family, and community... as we watch 2020 come to an end, most are thankful. Some are still heartbroken and some are accepting things we can not change. As I publicly have to witness the emptying of the home I build by hand here at Blown Away, as much as it hurts... God it hurts! I am 10x more proud than hurt. 10x more happier than hurting. Sadly/proudly COVID couldn't stop up, couldn't break us. WHAT BROKE US WAS THIS COMMUNITIES HELP they failed to give as I gave it my full focus for 15 months straight until it consumed me. Unti it was too heavy. Until this community turned our perfect world upside down. Didnt care about our cries for help. Our 911 emergencies.... how loud did we have to scream? What numbers did I miss on the list? I still will continue to believe in the good of people. But, the good of MY people. WE DID NOT DESERVE FOR THIS TOWN TO ALLOW A TRANSMISSION SHOP TO CONNECT TO OUR ESTABLISHED BEAUTIFUL BUIDLING TO WRECK OUR LIVES, MENTAL HEALTH, OUR SAFETY. So, I have decided to stop fighting people that don't care around you who is hurting who... as long as they get paid. As long as it isn't hurting them... sweep whatever under who evers rug. As a friend, as a human, as an owner, I have decided to close the salon where we are. Our health, lives and family deserve us at our best. As do our clients. So this is the ending to a beautiful disaster of a year of learning what's important. And this chapter, I choose ME. I choose MY coworkers lives and families. I choose US. And I'm learning how to let go through the heartbreak and pain of us all. We will be in and out for the next few weeks. Bare with us. We don't know where we are headed. But, you don't get anywhere not moving on. Thank you all who have been any part of this crazy beautiful journey. I will update more info and stylist numbers and everything when we have more details. But always remember to support your local business.... don't ever be so money hungry you ignore someone's screams for help. One person could have changed any of this for us, just one to keep our business running and healthy. And since I never reached that one person through this fight, I've reached for the light at the end of the tunnel. And I am that person. I will change this for us all. 💜

We know these times during the pandemic can be stressful. We are looking to add more team members for the overflow of clients we can not fit in our scheduals due to COVID 19 restrictions.

We will be opening back up MAY 11TH 2020. APPOINTMENT ONLY. No walk-ins can be taken at this time. With COVID-19 going on everyone's safety is a huge concern. Our stylist will be working 5x harder than normal while masked and preparing for you, during you, and after you. Please take into consideration while waiting in your car until your stylist is ready for you. YOU MUST WEAR A MASK AT ALL TIMES... IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ONE, YOU MUST PURCHASE ONE FROM US. (Or if you don't want to get hurt or color on your personal mask) You MUST SIGN IN AND FILL OUT PAPERWORK AND YOUR STYLIST WILL CHECK YOUR TEMPERATURES .
OUR PRICES WILL INCREASE DUE TO COVID-19 AND NOT BEING ABLE TO DOUBLE BOOK, SANITATION TIMES BEFORE DURING AND AFTER YOU. AND THE CHEMICALS AND COSTS IT IS COSTING US TO PERSONALLY WORK AND MAKE YOU FEEL AMAZING. Please be patient with us as we try to make a new normal out of all of this chaos. We are all doing our best to accommodate you. We are doing 5x the work with limited time to do it. Blow drying times may be cut down for sanitation time of 30 minutes between each client in our chairs. YOU MUST COME ALONE. IF YOUR CHILD/ CHILDREN ARE NOT OLD ENOUGH TO COME IN ALONE, FILL OUT THEIR PAPERWORK AND BEHAVE AND RECIEVE THEIR SERVICE, THEY WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO ENTER AT THIS TIME.

Trying to stay positive in this time is hard as a stylist. Therefore, I know you gals are finding it hard also with your own hair. Hang in there. We're just as lost without you in our lives too!!!

We take yours and our lives more serious than your roots. Blame your parents for your grey hair not us 😘

ATTENTION CLIENTS: some of us are working, others are choosing not to, while others simply cannot. Please support us all through this crazy time. The ones who are not working wish they could be working (we do not get paid to not work) but, we are trying to help prevent this disaster happening around us.
