💙 How long have you been doing hair?
i’ve been doing hair 18 years- I can’t believe how fast time flies

🌊What are your specialties?
precision cuts, dimensional color, event styling and extensions

🛥️ When you’re not in the salon, where can we find you!?
spending time with my little family, on the boat, working out, or taking day trips to find a cafe/coffeshop i saw on instagram

🐎 What’s something someone would be surprised to know about you?
i’ve worked on ranches in Colorado and Montana in between my hair career. Getting paid to ride horses all day is a dream come true!

🥪Favorite weird food combination?
i like to add potato chips to most of my sandwiches for the crunch

cold brew black with any flavor cold foam

Chipotle is bland and overrated

🌸How long have you been a hairstylist?

-14 beautiful years

🌸When your not making hair beautiful, where can we find you?

-At the beach with my babies or walking trails at Fort Macon.

🌸What is an odd food combination you like?

-I love pickles on almost anything! And Ranch with pizza.


🌸What is a guilty pleasure of yours?

-Eating chocolate or watching Outlander.

🌸What is something someone might be surprised to learn about you?

-I played softball from when I was 7 up to high school senior year. I’ve also been in a biplane over Cape Cod in Massachusetts!

🌸What is something that makes you as a stylist uniquely you?

-Not one hair style is created equal. I love to make a customized plan with the consultation and give the education needed to recreate the style at home. I always let clients know I’m easy going and very approachable. 😀

Vickie, or who I refer to as “my brain” has played a HUGE role in the success of Salon Indigo as well as The Hair Factory Salon Suites!

Those of you that know my Vickie know how much of a hard worker she is and keeps these businesses running like a tight ship! What is even more special is that she has been part of our story from DAY ONE! She treats these businesses like her own and cares so very deeply for all of the stylists and clients that cross through our doors.

She is patient with my forgetful mind (hence the “brain” nickname) and incredibly intuitive in all ways. I know this woman has got my back through anything and has helped me navigate so much in 5 years with such grace.

She helps us celebrate all of our stylists but hardly gets the spotlight. Will you help me show Vickie Proctor Edmondson some love!?!
