He got an early start only cutting some friends hair as a freshman in high school(2007). After high school, He immediately went to cosmetology school. Attending Marinello school of beauty in Moreno Valley. Roderick did everything he could to stay "ahead of the game", and is always eager to learn the NEW trick or technique. An important factor in his success is one of his beauty school instructors, master stylist and once mentor, Felicia Mullins, who's worked with Celebrity stylists such as "Terry Hunt" (https://Instagram.com/hairhunt) & "Neeko"(https://www.facebook.com/neekohair) who happens to be one of RJ's personal inspirations. RJ just recently started doing celebrity work himself, working with India Love & Bree Candace Westbrooks from the BET reality series "The Westbrooks" He went on to be a stylist for all five sisters & Mrs. RJ also worked at Social Culture Magazine for 2 1/2 years serving as the Beauty Editor. But Editorial work, Weddings, Mobile services, Volunteer work & Photo shoots are all some of the things that make up RJ's calendar, not to mention a major part of his day to day. HIS CLIENTS! :) Based in The Inland Empire, he is currently accepting and welcoming new business from Riverside, San Bernardino & Los Angeles counties. He can travel out of state if sufficient notice is given.
